The Southern Ridge Trail runs from the end of  Lietenant Bowen Drive south into the Grose Valley.

We were lucky enough to spot a waratah – the NSW State Emblem – as well as a Mountain Devil which is incorpoprate into the logo of the Kuarrajong Heights RFS brigade.
