Motorsport Historics

Where we race old cars!

We had four of them and a race team called Age & Treachery Racing. We were members of the HSRCA.

Click on the blue chequered flag to access their individual pages:

  • Lotus 61MX
The first historic log book in Australia and the car we took to Monterey in 1995
  • Bowin P6F
We bought the car in Newcastle and restored it. Lovely Lotus derived history
  • Reynard 83FF
The sister car to the David Haydon owned Tomas Mezera championship winning car, and ther quickest of all our hsitopric cars
  • Jaguar D Type Replica
The first replica made in Tasmania, with help from Coventry, our Jaguar features in the Jaguar Competition History
  • Age & Treachery Racing
We start the Australian offshoot of the US team based in Kansas Missouri
  • HSRCA
The premier Historic Racing club in NSW. We were active members and also joined the Committee

We also cover in this section of the website our visits to major historic meetings and the HSRCA:

  • Goodwood
Thias was Barry Sheene’s last race
  • Monterey 1995
We went there with Paul Samuels. Paul won Driver of the Meeting. I won a Chopard watch. Paul offered to swap
  • Monaco
We didn’t miss many meetings in the early days and they were all memorable
