The run started at Maccas at Penrith and went the back way to the Southern Highlands via Silverdale and the Oaks.  A very short blast of motorway and then round the back of Wingecarribee Rservoir to the historic village of Burrawang … and what a lovely place it is.

We had our own covered dining area round the back of the pub.  The food was great and altogether a super day.

All our photos are here.

We drove home via the much improved Northern Road which is now dual carriageway the whole way from Camden to the M4.  Lots of building work going on at Badgery’s Creek for the new airport.
